I build my own now
Ensemble is my workbench, built with Claude Code. React, TypeScript, at least 15 Postgres tables, CI/CD. Days from first commit to production.
What that has looked like
Ran product for a B2B payments platform that moved $8B+ in total, earning businesses rebates on their spend and cutting client onboarding from weeks to days with an API-first design
Turned California's pesticide rules into one system serving 39 million residents, consolidating 24 legacy systems and replacing a sequential review line with up to 10 stations working a submission at once
Delivered the Air Force's TO Analyzer by writing the eval first, so the model kept the sure calls and a person caught the rest
Led the team that cut secure release from months to minutes by encoding the required controls to run on every change
Designed an AI enablement program for 160 people, built from 11 interviews and 19 surveys into a framework they could adopt their own way
How I work
The team owns the backlog. I make the work value evident and slice it thin, so everyone sees the same roadmap.
My real output is capability. People come in empowered and leave enabled. Two of my interns became engineers.
Outcomes over output. High bar, good time. Those have never been opposites.
Two awards you haven't heard of
Unity (2024) and Encourager (2025). Neither was for shipping. Both were for being an actual human who plays well with others.
